YAMAHA OUTBOARDS

FOUR-STROKE

Yamaha offers a full model lineup in four stroke engines from 2.5hp to 350hp that deliver superb fuel economy and cleaner emissions. Outboards of 30hp and higher are equipped with high-performance fuel injection to take that performance to even higher levels.

In many models, our advanced technology also realizes acceleration performance and a lightweight, compact design commensurate with two strokes.

IN-LINE 4-STROKE SERIES

The Yamaha in-line four-cylinder designs and electronic fuel injection make these outboards strong, nimble, compact and light weight. They are the perfect power for cruising, skiing and sport fishing on flats, decks and offshore boats, and pontoons or deep-V hulls.

Unique Twin counter-balancing technology counteracts vibration normally associated with internal moving parts for smooth operation and a pleasant boating experience.

Yamaha’s In-Line Four strokes blend fuel economy with power and performance.

Extended Trim Range delivers better acceleration-to-plane and top-end speed. The tilt range is a full 70° for tilting the engine above the waterline.

A Freshwater Flush Device allows you to flush the engine without running it, for added convenience and extended engine life.

16-valve direct drive DOHC maximizes power by using four valves per cylinder, eliminating rocker arms and their adjustments and increasing air supply and volumetric efficiency for better performance on the F200, F175, F150 and F115.

Yamaha’s award-winning, Multi-Function Tiller Handle (optional only on the F115) features Variable Trolling Speed (VTS™), allowing you to fine-tune your trolling speed in 50-RPM increments with the touch of a button. Power Trim and Tilt is positioned next to the twist grip for easy, ergonomic control.

The In-Line Four family features electronic fuel injection controlled by the Engine Control Module. It continually adjusts the fuel/air mix to properly match engine load and speed.

F150

The new F150B features the variable trolling RPM switch (VTS®) which allows anglers to adjust trolling speed in 50-RPM increments from 650 to 900 RPM using the Yamaha Command Link® gauge.

Yamaha has refreshed this best-selling 150-horsepower four-stroke outboard by refining the cowling drainage and adding a tough 8-tooth “dog clutch” to make this dependable workhouse even more reliable.

F115

Introducing the new Yamaha F115 In-Line Four, the lightest DOHC F115 four-stroke outboard on the water today—and the next generation of four-stroke performance.

Its power combined with its lightweight design makes the F115 an outstanding option for many applications from sport, bay and deep-V aluminium boats to pontoons, fish’n skis and Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs)

MID-RANGE 4-STROKE SERIES

Nothing beats a day on the water with family and friends. And nothing powers those moments quite like Yamaha’s versatile line of midrange outboards. Ranging in size from the mighty F90 down to the nimble F25, they offer just the right amount of power for a variety of applications. These 2-, 3- and 4-cylinder dynamos are quiet, clean-burning, reliable performers. But that’s not all they have to offer.

Built Marine Tough. All Yamaha midranges feature exclusive Ultimate Corrosion Protection System (UCP-II™). This pairs our exclusive YDC-30 Alloy, (one of the industry’s most corrosion-resistant base materials), with our proprietary ACP-221™ five-layer paint process for the ultimate in corrosion protection. Sacrificial anodes in and around the powerhead draw corrosion away from vital engine components.

Operator Comfort.  All Yamaha midranges F30~F90 are compatible with the award-winning Multi-Function Tiller Handle. Its ergonomic design features Variable Trolling Speed (VTS™), allowing you to adjust trolling in 50-RPM increments with the touch of a button. For added security, the factory-equipped handle on the F40 tiller model features an LED light that signals overheating or low oil pressure conditions. The F25 also features a factory-equipped handle on tiller models.

F70

Weighing in at up to 80 pounds lighter than its four stroke competitors, this 16-valve SOHC (Single Overhead Camshaft) midrange four stroke offers the greatest power-to-weight ratio in its class.

That makes it perfect for lightweight fishing boats, pontoons and fiberglass boats. In addition, it’s Command Link® and YCOP™ compatible.

TWO-STROKE

Among the growing lineup of Yamaha outboards, the 2-stroke models with their simpler engine structure continue to have a strong customer following. In order to meet the diverse and demanding needs of these devoted customers, Yamaha offers a selection of over 50 2-stroke model variations and over 20 Enduro models.

Yamaha Motor has been manufacturing and marketing 2-stroke outboard motors for more than 50 years since the launch of the first Yamaha outboard in 1960. Outboard motors are used worldwide in a variety of environments and for a wide range of uses. The highest concentration in demand for 2-stroke outboards is in markets where commercial use exceeds leisure use. Because Yamaha wants to answer the needs of as many users as possible with reliable outboard motors capable of meeting the demands of the harshest use conditions and environments, we continue to provide a full lineup of 2-stroke models in Enduro and kerosene-fuel specs alongside our 4-stroke lineup. Now, this proven 2-stroke lineup has a new look. With the exception of a few models, the 2-stroke lineup features new graphics with prominent use of the Yamaha tuning fork logo as a symbol of the Yamaha brand's reputation for unmatched product reliability and durability.

ENDURO

Functions and features of the Enduro outboards are designed to power commercial fishery and transport boats.

The Enduro range is a two-stroke outboard motor series developed mainly for commercial use such as on fishing and passenger vessels. This series suits harsh conditions that include everyday use and situations involving long hours of continuous operation.

In many countries of the world (like the BVI) where outboard demand is primarily for commercial uses, the water quality, weather and climate variance and long hours of continuous operation make for a very harsh use environment.

Enhanced strength and durability in locations such as roller bearings, crankshaft and cylinder block, as well as an improved water pump that ensures plenty of cooling effect, combine to deliver substantial improvements in durability and reliability.

Currently, the two-stroke models range from 8hp up to 115hp.  Depending on the model, options include Electronic Starter, Manual Starter or Manual & Electronic Starter, Remote Control or Tiller Handle, Manual Trim & Tilt or Power Trim & Tilt, Pre-mixed Fuel and Oil or Oil Injection.

LEISURE

Compared to the commercial-use Enduro series, leisure-use outboards have a different set of demands, among which lightness, the reliable power of choice for users worldwide, and compactness are important qualities.

Yamaha became the world's first outboard manufacturer to develop separate lines for commercial and leisure use. The development of Yamaha's leisure-specific outboards began in 1981.

Currently, the two-stroke models range from 2hp up to 200hp.  Depending on the model, options include Electronic Starter, Manual Starter or Manual & Electronic Starter, Remote Control or Tiller Handle, Manual Trim & Tilt or Power Trim & Tilt, Pre-mixed Fuel and Oil or Oil Injection.
